The interlayer bonding strength is an essential property of geogrid-reinforced asphalt. To study the characteristics asphalt, direct shear and oblique tests were carried out in laboratory. interlaminar asphalt was lower than that unreinforced carbon–carbon sample highest, second, carbon–glass lowest. stiffness geogrid affects strength. strengths AC-20C samples higher AC-13C samples. almost same as Normal stress made double-layered tend to behave a homogeneous granular material. vs. displacement curves showed area oscillation, but smooth throughout process.
